McDonald owner plans Ortigas Tri-Mall

MC Mall Inc., a company owned by George Yang who owns the Philippine franchise of McDonald’s, will develop a commercial complex in a 4.5-hectare property in the Ortigas financial district for P1 billion.

The project, dubbed Silver City, will be a tri-mall niche-retail commercial development concept with auto, fusion-tech and wellness malls.

Global firm puts up first call center in RP

The Resource Group (TRG), a global business process outsourcing company, opened Monday its Manila operations. Subsidiary TRG Philippines Inc. said it has infused around $4.2 million to launch the 850-seat facility in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, seen to employ about 1,000 agents.

Saint Francis Square, an air-conditioned mall, open its doors to shoppers last October 21. 150 jewelry (pearl, gold, silver and fashion accessories) stallholders and 320 RTW merchants, mostly from Greenhills, have leased all spaces in their respective sections in the new 2,000-stall flea market.
