PCGG – Keen for Better Contract Lease
PCGG keen on revising Ortigas Center contract. THE PRESIDENTIAL Commission on Good Government (PCGG) has said it wants better terms from companies leasing parcels of land on the 5,000 square meters Metrowalk prime property in the Ortigas Center in Pasig City. They will meet with the lessees of the controversial 5,000-square-meter commercial property in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, to renegotiate its contract.
McDonald owner plans Ortigas Tri-Mall
MC Mall Inc., a company owned by George Yang who owns the Philippine franchise of McDonald’s, will develop a commercial complex in a 4.5-hectare property in the Ortigas financial district for P1 billion.
The project, dubbed Silver City, will be a tri-mall niche-retail commercial development concept with auto, fusion-tech and wellness malls.

Ortigas Center office location is the least expensive in the world
A survey of a global property adviser DTZ found that office space located in the Ortigas Center business district is the least expensive in the world. The survey puts Ortigas at about US$710 per workstation per year while the most expensive which is London’s West End stands at US$18,740 per workstation per year. Read more about it.
Global firm puts up first call center in RP
The Resource Group (TRG), a global business process outsourcing company, opened Monday its Manila operations. Subsidiary TRG Philippines Inc. said it has infused around $4.2 million to launch the 850-seat facility in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, seen to employ about 1,000 agents.
